Lighthouse barbecue set for March 14
AT LAST YEAR’S EVENT ­– Chuck MacNeil of PDRTA, Cecilia Meggs of Lighthouse Ministries, Jay Lavrinc, Lighthouse Ministries Board Member, and Nicole Echols, American Red Cross.

Lighthouse Ministries’ Annual BBQ Fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, March 14. The event will take place at St. John’s Church at 252 S. Dargan St. and will be catered by local favorite, Schoolhouse BBQ.

Lunch will be served from 11-2 and dinner will be served from 4-6. Take-out and eat-in options are available at both times, and lunch delivery is available for businesses who order more than 10 plates.

For the last 14 years, this annual BBQ has served as Lighthouse Ministries’ major fundraiser for the year. All funds raised through sponsorships and plate purchases will go to help Florence County residents meet their basic needs.
