GREENVILLE – The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities invites young artists from across the state to apply to the public, residential high school and summer programs for the 2018-2019 school year. As a state-funded public school, tuition is free, while students assume meal plan and residence hall fee costs. The Governor’s School for the Arts Foundation provides scholarships to cover these costs for students who have a proven financial need. Apply online or become a donor at

Any South Carolina resident in 6th through 11th grade is eligible to apply to various age-appropriate programs in creative writing, dance, drama, music and visual arts.
