Aging is a Catch 22:

When you’re young you have time and energy, but no money.

When you’re middle-aged, you have energy and money, but no time.

And when you’re old, you have time and money, but no energy.

If you haven’t grown up by age 50, you don’t have to.

Don’t you hate it when you see an old person and realize that you went to high school together?

One good thing about getting old is no one expects you to run – anywhere.

Being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.

Someday we old folks will use cursive writing as a secret code.

Age gets better with wine.

Remember being able to get up without making sound effects?

As you age, you learn that whenever you decide something with kindness, you usually make the right decision.

Another good thing about getting old is you can eat supper at 4 p.m.

If you think you would like to go back to youth, think of algebra.

Over time, we usually become better at socializing, spending and saving money, child-raising, housework, cooking, shopping, traveling, and body maintenance.

“Growing old is great – when you consider the alternative,” as the saying goes.

The immune system remembers past enemies, making colds easier to beat when you get older.

Studies show that seniors are among the happiest groups of people, and that they are significantly more happy than their middle-aged counterparts.

You know you’re getting old when happy hour is a nap.

At age 65, there are fewer life decisions to make.

“It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” – English novelist George Eliot.
